Tell us about your business?

Our primary business is the leasing/renting of heavy vehicles (Trucks and Trailers) within the NZ transport industry.

  

What is your role there?

Credit Manager

  

When did you start with the company?

5 Years ago.

   

What was your business challenge that led to you starting discussions with Veda?

Understanding our customers better and utilising credit tools available to us that enabled us to make an informed risk assessment.

   

How did you find out about Veda?

Already known to us via previous credit roles.

   

Can you describe the process of how Veda has helped your business?

We have moved from making uninformed decisions about our customers, to being as informed as we can about who they have been dealing with and what their current status looks like.

    

What has this meant for your business?

This has meant we have been able to make a significant reduction in our write offs over the last several years. We are now putting better quality business in the front end, resulting in long term relationships with the customers we have.

   

Do you have any personal insights from your experience at working with Veda?

My personal experiences have been that no request, big or small, is a problem for the team at Veda. They are only too willing to help

   

Would you work with Veda again?

They are a fantastic team I would look to introduce them to any business I was involved in.

   

What are your thoughts of Veda Data Quality?

Volume is the key to good data and Veda has this, therefore, in our opinion the data provided is the best in the New Zealand market.
